Parish council OKs land purchase for new Lafayette library
(opens in new window)On Tuesday, the Parish Council introduced an ordinance authorizing Mayor-President Monique Boulet to buy 6 acres of land for construction of the library. The ordinance is up for final adoption at the council’s March 5 meeting.
