This code of conduct applies to all discussion venues promoted by The Current.
Anyone who violates this code of conduct will be barred from participating in discussions.
1) No Hate Speech or Bullying
Make sure everyone feels safe. Bullying of any kind isn’t allowed, and degrading comments about things like race, religion, culture, sexual orientation, gender or identity will not be tolerated.
2) Don’t Be a Jerk
We encourage debate, and that could lead to some tense exchanges. That’s OK. But check your temper at the door. Be insightful, not insulting.
3) Be Real
We want authentic discussion. Fake and anonymous accounts are prohibited. Be you and be real.
4) No Promotions or Spam
Self-promotion, spam and irrelevant links aren’t allowed.
5) No doxxing
Posting personally identifying information about another person like addresses, phone numbers, places without their permission will get you banned — immediately.
