Have some questions?

Is this an application for funding?

No. The councils will decide how ARPA money is spent. One Big Project is a platform to publicize ideas.

Who can participate?

We are soliciting and presenting projects from legally established nonprofit organizations only.

What kind of projects are eligible?

Projects have to meet the ARPA eligibility criteria set by U.S. Treasury. In general, they have to address one of these broad categories:

  • Public Health Response to COVID
  • Economic Recovery from COVID
  • Systemic Inequities prior to COVID

More detailed information about what kinds of projects are eligible for this funding can be found on the Treasury Department’s Coronavirus State and Local Fiscal Recovery Funds page. You can also view the submissions so far in our project showcase.
