City residents are disenfranchised by a budget-making process that prevents the City Council from fulfilling the duties we elected them to perform.
LCG’s proposed budget splits $250,000 between LEDA, a public economic development agency, and One Acadiana, the regional chamber of commerce. In last year’s budget, the whole allocation went to LEDA.
