Conversation: How about a hug?

After the last year, we could all use one. And if you and yours are fully vaccinated, it’s safe to share an embrace. New CDC guidelines ease up on social distancing recommendations for small indoor gatherings of vaccinated people. The guidelines also OK vaccinated people to visit unvaccinated households, provided they’re at low risk.

Don’t throw out your mask just yet. Basic mitigation measures — masks, social distancing — are still recommended in public settings for the vaccinated and unvaccinated alike.
