Two big wins in the tech sector have folks once again talking about Lafayette’s arrival as a bonafide tech hub. Food delivery app Waitr was acquired in a blockbuster deal and plans to continue expanding local employment. International IT giant CGI will extend its economic development contract with the state and add 400 more jobs. Do these successes really mean that Lafayette is a tech town?
